Principal’s Message
Dr. Keisha Green-Martinez
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write to introduce myself as the new Principal of PS 30X Wilton Elementary School. I am thrilled to be joining PS 30X and look forward to collaborating with all of you in fostering a loving, vibrant, joyful, and enriching learning environment for our students. I have been an educator for 22 years, with experience spanning various grade levels and administrative roles. I started my teaching career right here in District 7 as a classroom teacher and later served as a Literacy Coach. In my last role, I served as an Assistant Principal in the West Bronx. I am glad to be back home in District 7. I have always been passionate about education and firmly believe that every child deserves a quality education that nurtures their individual talents, fosters their growth, and prepares them for a successful future.
I feel incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to serve as the Principal of PS 30X. I am deeply committed to creating a school environment that promotes joy, inclusivity, creativity, critical thinking, a love for learning and excellence for all. My leadership philosophy is to Lead with Love! These ideals will serve as our “Bridge to Generational Success”. As we embark on this new academic year together, my primary goal is to collaborate closely with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition. I value the crucial partnership between parents, students, staff, and the community, as it is through this collaboration that we can create a supportive and nurturing environment where our students will thrive.I am eager to get to know each and every one of you, to learn about your aspirations for your children's education, and to understand their unique strengths and needs of our school community. I strongly believe that open communication and active involvement are the keys to a successful educational experience. I will make it a priority to be accessible and approachable, and I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have.
Throughout the year, we will have numerous opportunities to connect and engage as a school community. I look forward to meeting you all during parent-teacher conferences, SLT meetings, PTA meetings, school events, and other occasions where we can come together to celebrate our students' achievements and contribute to their growth. Please be assured that I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for every child at PS 30X. I firmly believe that education is a shared responsibility and that together, we can create an inspiring and empowering journey for our students. I look forward to working collaboratively with all of you to make this academic year an exceptional one.
